Just like EL G., the Russian was knocked out of the race by another athelete. El G. had the patience and finally won Gold Eight years later. What is it with that Russian lady, the Olympics are not going anywhere. Doesn't she know that patience pays. Ask EL G. ( Although I suspect Lagat was paid not to win)
