CA with 27 boys HS teams in the top 110, but which state is best per capita?

Since these are team rankings, shouldn't the relevant metric really be per scholita? Or perhaps per 'megascholita'.

Per Capita is probably usually Utah over the last few years. But maybe Wyoming takes that title this year, since they have 2 schools included.

Without a doubt, the best HS state football played per capita is in Louisiana and Mississippi.

The stat you want that no one ever seems to take into account are the size of schools. Some states have many schools with enrollments of 4000 students or more while some states rarely go over 1200 and some even less. A state's population can be small, but if they are packing them into a few huge schools they have a much higher chance percentage-wise of having a powerhouse team.

Washington has 7 I think. IDK how that ranks?

Utah and Washington probably considering the amount of quality teams and individuals they produce based on population size.

It would be interesting to see the average school size of Washington, Utah, California, Illinois, Ohio, NY, TX, and the other power states.

What are the school sizes of those on the list?

Come on man, don't you have Google? Oh wait, this is the only page in the entire googleplex that pops up with "megascholita".

Maybe we should make up some more metrics, how about the "megahemaglobinita" that is so prevalent in Utah and Colorado schools.
