Hey y'all so there's an open track meet happening at my University in just over two months and I would really like to compete in the 800m for fun. I used to be a half (quarter?) decent runner in high school but now am in pretty poor shape.
I haven't been doing much more than sprints, weights, and maybe one or two easy runs a week for a while so I'm not far off from starting from scratch.
what would be the best way to prepare myself for the 800m given this two month limit? (Should I time trial a lot in my preparation?)
