If only Bolt had the balls... lol.
No no, it's ok that they did that, see, because in male-dominated societies two MEN kissing is gay propaganda but two WOMEN kissing is just the first step toward a hot 3-way.
Awesome
This is everything to do with freedom and personal liberty.
Greatest Russian lesbian kiss since Tatu:
Stripped of their medals. Wow.

haha
This is BY FAR the biggest story of the championships!!
I would say this is the biggest medal stand protest since:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1968_Olympics_Black_Power_salute
These women will be arrested and god knows what Russian authorities will do to them behind closed doors.
On the flip side - Isenbayava's career just ended. She won't get any more invites to major meets in Europe or US.
Just a teaser to what's coming for winter olympics!
Those girls were hot

^This.
were they making out or something?
seems like this was probably just a little celebratory kiss between teammates...
The scissoring was a bit over the top.
That doesn't look like a protest. It just looks like people congratulating each other. One of the girls didn't even kiss on the mouth.
It's normal in Europe to do that.
Kind of like shaking hands here or maybe now a high five.

women can still be lesbians openly in Russia.
Its just Men can not be gay openly.
I find this arrangement...somewhat acceptable.
I don't see why gays shouldn't be allowed to get married. Why is it a problem for some people what goes on in others' bedrooms? It's not like people are asking for public orgies to be legal.
This didn't defy any laws, wasn't a protest, wasn't even a story. Just a congratulatory kiss. Poor reporting.
PS, there are no laws in Russia against homosexual display of affection, IF that's what this was, which it wasn't.
