She Looked like she was about 80 years old. NASTY!!!!!
DD:
I run weekly mileage ranging from 90 to 140.
I start the week off Monday with a leisure paced 12 mile run.
Tuesday is 6-8 times a mile (4:42-4:50) with a two minute jog.
Wednesday is a two hour run.
Thurday is 12 600s on the grass.
Friday-easy.
Saturday is a tempo run ranging from 8-10 miles.
Sunday- 2 hours 2hours 45 minutes with
an increase in the >last 45 minutes.
I run twice every day except Sundays; the second run being from 30minutes to 1 hour.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thurday I am in the weight room doing 1-2 hours of strength and plyometric work.
She did not do that leading up to the Olympics. She said she felt her recovery days were junk mileage because she'd have to go so easy to recover, so she instead was doing a lot of good quality up tempo work along with finishing her long runs fast.
