It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with the fact that the men ahead of him come from nations with systematic doping programs.
How do you know he is running clean? You will have to prove that he is clean and everyone else is not. Just because he did not make top 3 does not mean he is clean. Isn't it possible that he is taking PED and that is why he made it to the finals? or is it because he is white why you think he is clean...hmmm!
The race within a race. Frenchman beats the Brit.
Hah yeah I love it. It's like he is philosophical about the race just before it starts. But at least he is concentrated and not concerned about others, so he will perform his best. I wonder what times Lemaitre would do with pharmahelp.
Its funny how people put on blinders when it comes to their favorite athletes. I live in New York now and I always laugh when I hear Yankee fans insist that Andy Petit used drugs only once, to recover from a shoulder injury. Bunch o clowns.
What makes you think Lemaitre is clean?

His whiteness. This is Letsrun
white is cleaner than black
In this case this is a matter of time until Jamaicans begin to dominate "clean" road cycling then

I, too, think Lemaitre is clean, but I don't know if he was the only clean man in the final.
Is there any circumstantial evidence--big improvements over short periods of time, known associates who have been implicated in doping scandals, etc.--that makes Rodgers or Dasaolu look suspicious?
I want to believe Bailey-Cole and Ashmeade are clean just because I like them, but, to be honest, being on the Jamaican team is enough to make you look very dodgy nowadays.
Anyway. What Lemaitre should really be congratulated on is having the SECOND BEST reaction time in the final. I'm used to thinking of him as hopelessly slow out of the blocks, but this final shows he has it in him to start well. He got into it almost by accident after having a somewhat mediocre season, and the psychological pressure and lack of sufficient preparation meant he was never going to medal tonight. However, his reaction time shows that if he learns to pull it all together when it counts, his strong second 50 plus a more regular good reaction time could see him make significant progress next year.
He isn't a muscled up gorilla like the others. Gatlin is alreayd a known doper, Bolt is too big to fail, etc.
Lemaitre is the winner!
did CL get stretchered out of the stadium?
Why does the UK which is 80% white, apparently have nothing but black athletes?

Lemaitre is very fast for his frame, but his SCRAWNYNESS comes at a price of being FRAIL. He was able to race the 100 but not one step further.
Couple of months break, rehab and then hopefully he ups his lifting routine and comes back a bit sturdier/more BUFF next year.

Why aren't 70% of NBA and NFL players white?
