I suspect it's not going to work out for her, but in fairness, she did beat all but one Ethiopian at the Olympics.

Kiplagat looking good, but Straneo should hang on for Silver or at least Bronze. Straneo very good at the drink stations, always taking plenty of fluids from early in the race. They must be getting close to the 35km mark now.
She just ran 17:05, the fastest 5km split! Waving to the crowd too, looks like she's headed for at least a silver.
