Gatlin is just being himself, it's Usian Bolt who is on the decline. I've seen more pictures of him with a tired or worried look on his face this season than all his other seasons combined. It is not coming easy for him anymore. And if he has to really work at it he will fail as we are going to be seeing soon. He'll still win the 200m in around 19.68. He'll run the 100m in 9.80 losing to Gatlin's 9.78.
The money and the good life have taken their toll.
If Gay had run he wins in 9.70.
Usain will win by half a second in 9.40. Rest of the finalists run 9.90 and share the silver medal.
If Bolt is anything close to old-Bolt he wins by a country mile, but if the new-Bolt shows up, the race is going to be real interesting.
so if Bolt has a drug to beat the tests you say? would be fun/funny to have a clean race, and ironically gaitlin would win (not that he's clean now)

We have heard this same story every year since 2010.. and it's nonsense. Bolt is exclusively a championship performer. Bolt was much more vulnerable last year, and he still went 9.63 and 19.32 and won convincinglu in London. If Bolt runs 9.75 or better, he wins 100% guaranteed. He will likely go 9.6x in the Moscow final. 9.7 low at worst. Gatlin won't touch him. Gatlin should be more focused on making sure he doesn't give up the Silver.
We all know about Bolts career, he is the greatest sprinter of all time. His records will stand for a long time.
Something is wrong in 2013 and it's real obvious. He's not the same. He'll going down in the 100m.
It's real obvious, but you can't articulate what's different this year than the last three years (or at least you choose not to?) not very convincing.
Bolt wins. This isn't a race. Gatlin poses next to no threat.
He lacks his usual speed endurance. He's not puling away like he once did. He's carrying a few extra pounds and isn't sharpe.
I saw a picture of him today in a magazine, he looked old and tired.
