Okay after the world champs I wanna see him take a major assault on either the 3K or 5K world records. 3:28 is some intense speed for a guy running the 10k, time to move down to 5K 1500!!

He's gotta be capable of close to 7:20 right now with optimal pacing.

Reminds me of the days an obviously doped up El Guerrouj and Ngeny were dominating the 1500, and guys running 3:32-3:33 clean were totally irrelevant.

Solomon is quickly becoming my favorite. He runs like a Boss from the front.

This really was great timing mid-distance and distance fans to havem a performance like Kiprop's today. There has been a lot of discussion about how middle distance and distance times like those from the mid-90s through 2005 are a thing of the past because everyone seems to think all those runners were doped. Well, here we are in the biological passport era and this Monaco race produced the 4th and 6th fastest performers of all time. Awesome!

Asbel needs some competition; someone to test his limits. No one is at his level in this event. He's easily a 3:26 guy.

Truth! We need a field with a bunch of sub 3:30 guys.

If these guys are all clean then fair play to them.

But if they're dirty then please please legalise all drugs so we can see races like this all the time. That was f*cking awesome. Only race worth watching since the Olympics.
