Based on Meb's recent half marathon, I'll pick him. It could be Teg, though. The other two guys, no.
Out of all the Americans, I'm going with Mo. Led the half wire-to-wire and did all of the work. Out of that bunch, Teg. Peachtree isn't a rhythm-type course, but he's much sharper than the other guys over 10k.
Abdi, Meb, everyone else.
1. Abdi- been training with Lagat
2. Teg- been training with Schumacher's group
3. Meb- pure marathoner
4. Hall - pure marathoner
Luke Puskedra ftw
Considering how many races these guys regularly pull out of, I doubt more than one of them will actually start the race.
It's going to be pouring rain. Large pools, flooding. More XC than road race. There's a chance the whole thing could be cancelled or postponed due to lightening, but most think it will go on.
Tegenkamp. The marathoners, Abdi, Meb, and Hall usually don't do well in these and that's okay. Most likely exception is Hall, if his training under Canova has changed this at all, but who knows. Dark horse is Puskedra, if Salazar has been working with him, but Teg beat him handily at USA's so I'm still betting on Teg.
This is for the American win, of course, there are lots of good Africans in the field that will be tough to beat.

By the way: Kitwara FTW, Teg first American
Teg will key on Meb for the money. Teg will be the first American. This race with these old guys will forget about the leaders and race for money.
Agree. I think Teg Succeeds when he puts his mind to something. He is now focused on roads success.

Hall actually isn't with Canova anymore....yep. Back to faith based. He said it in an interview but I forget where I saw it. Big mistake if you ask me. The guy needs a coach telling him what to do. And he needs to stop running with his wife.
The rain wins.
Come on Brojos, you have to mention Trafeh in that group before Hall. Of the 4 you listed, I would say Teg, but unfortunately I think Mo will win. Hall will not be top 5.
Top american you mean , not top in the race , none of these american clowns will finish within 1 minute of the actual winner.
Can't wait to see the Kenyan and Ethiopian JV teams double up on finishes ahead of the top Americans. Will then hear how all the top US guys trained through the race. Sadly none of these guys need a win here to further their financial standing or contract position and they lack the competitive fire to really go for the win.

This. Mo looked solid and dropped Meb. Teg might be racing 10k right now, but I bet he's too slow to be Mo.
But to answer the real question at hand (Abdi, Meb, Hall or Teg?) I'd say Meb.
Think Teg might have been top American. Saw a lot of TV cameras on him when I finished a few minutes later, and it looks like he and Abdi were the only Americans in a pic taken at 4 or so.
