I figure that puts him in 1:43.0 shape at least.

dang
for sure, the guy came through 200m in 22.mid and still closed in 50.mid.
I believe his splits were 22.mid and 46.low
i had him at 23 and 47 but with poor video quality
Kid has become a horse, good for him. It is nice to see a US guy finally in the discussion for respectable 800s.
Whoa, if I'm not mistaken that's #2 all time?!?!

Uh, respectable doesn't quite cover it. He already has the world lead, and likely pulled further ahead today. And the track at Burnaby (polycarbonate, not mondo) is not Lausanne, Monaco, or Shanghai.
You will get some idea of where he stands at Lausanne with both Amman and Amos entered.
With Rudisha not exactly 100%, the question is can Solomon actually go to Moscow and win? That's looking more and more likely.

You're not mistaken. I'm guessing that the Grayman's 800m AR goes down this summer.

The guy recently lost an 800 to Symmonds.

You have to be really stupid to not realize that Solomon was planning an AR attempt 2 days later. Even Symmonds pointed out that Solomon did not run his normal race...and for good reason.
I pointed this out to you guys two days ago, and you ARE really stupid.
He may have gotten it but his rabbit couldn't even make it through 400 meters. Solomon had to go around him at about 375 meters and the rabbit should have stepped off of the track, but he didn't.
BANG BANG
Well, I don't get why Solomon even ran that race in Edmonton. You certainly aren't fully recovered in 2 days. But, then, they don't give out medals for 600s (as Khadevis Robinson knows well :(.
It's going to be interesting to see what Amman and Amos can run.
Might depend on Rudisha being in the race. But yes, I will be not to surprised if he knocks Gray down a notch.
Good to knock that gangster thug David Mack down a little further on the list.
Didn't Symmonds run a 1:13.xx time trial some time before London.
I think Duane will be in 600 record shape when he's sharp if all goes well
and on course Gray's record is in danger
Maybe sub 1:42?

Yeah, the rabbit definitely slowed him down a little by slowing the pace and then he had to speed up again. Better pacing and he would have the record.

Maybe, but of course Solomon himself is not entered.
well according to symmonds, he ran his 1:43 US champ time off essentially zero speed work. i wonder how much DS has been putting in.
can't wait to see what symmonds runs when he actually has some lactate/speed work under his belt.

Play nice or we shall have to lock you in your room with a U of O highlight video on loop.
