what happened?
She ran great!
Four others were phenomenal...start the pity party.
Lolo ran so well. There were 4 others who just ran faster. Briana set a new AR as the winner. Amazing!
They should DQ Lolo - watch what hurdles she hit

So LoLo's problem was she was too low?
Hitting hurdles is not a reason for DQ.
Her peak was in Beijing 08. That's what happened. Sucks, cause she has consistently been one of the hotter girls in the women's hurdles.
She is living two steps in the future all the time. She has to do the job before she gets the rewards.
Let her twitter her head off for the next few days. I hope the board pays attention to the ladies that brought what they needed to the final.
Split the public persona of LoLo from the athlete and my opinion is polar- she is a world level hurdler and I wish her well.
she is a universal pain in the butt
She should be DQ'd for hitting rollins hurdles. She knocked atleast 2 of them down. If Rollins were running slower she deff would of fell
LoLo's form has always been terrible. She always strains so hard over the hurdles, so when she hits one it causes her to slow down more than she should, or like in Beijing, to crash out. Its a shame LoLo is 30, she's still smokin' hot though.
She cannot run well in Drake Stadium. Home track disadvantage.
Wrong. A runner in a hurdle race will only be disqualified for knocking down a hurdle he or she does it on purpose.
From the IAAF rulebook:
From rule 168: "Each athlete shall jump each hurdle. Failure to do so will result in a
disqualification.
In addition, an athlete shall be disqualified, if he:
RULE 168 154
IAAF COMPETITION RULES 2010-2011
(a) trails his foot or leg below the horizontal plane of the top of
any hurdle at the instant of clearance; or
(b) in the opinion of the Referee deliberately knocks down any
hurdle.
8. Except as provided in Rule 168.7(b), the knocking down of hurdles
shall not result in disqualification nor prevent a Record being made."
LILO knocked over 3-4 of Rollins hurdles
Les so obviously out of her lane..why no dq? She still ran a. Great time just got beat.
I am not sad that she didn't make it. Too much whining, self-made hype, and attention grabbing. Let the faster prevail and send her back to the ice.
Lolo ran 12.55 which is consistant for her. The others just ran faster. Good race, Lolo...except for hitting those other hurdles.

You don't get dq'd for touching or knocking down hurdles in an adjacent land unless you impeded the runner in that lane. She didn't bother Rollins so no dq.
That said, I'm glad the attention whore is staying home.

I never understood the appeal of LoLo.
Brianna Rollins looked much more attractive then LoLo who looks like she has jaundice.

Hooking hurdles does not matter unless you are in lane 1 or 8. You can go over other persons hurdle or step on the line in straight races because you are not gaining an advantage like you would be running on the line on a curve.
That is as long as you do not mess up another hurdler. And I don't think Rollins was bothered...

Brianna Rollins is girl next door pretty.
Lolo is HOT.
Both could be centerfolds if they really wanted too.
It sucks for her that she is from the US. Anywhere else (well, maybe Australia) she would have 6-8 national titles to her name and have a cake walk into every major meet. The US could probably fill 7 of the 8 lanes at this years WC meet and it would be a toss-up who gets silver and bronze.
