I'm going into my sophomore year at college and I'm primarily an 800 guy. This season I probably topped out at 40 MPW and did more like 30 from like Thanksgiving to the end of outdoor. This season, my PRs were 1:53.7 and 4:01 (800/1500). In high school, my PRs were 1:54.5, 4:26 (mile) and then I hit 49/50 a couple times in my relay splits for 4x4s. In high school I'd probably do around 40 miles a week, maybe 45 after Thanksgiving and like 30-35 in the summer/fall.
I'll admit my diet is pretty poor and I got injured and sick in February and that kinda lingered throughout the year and killed my confidence (peaked in Feb for 800 and started doing 1500 in outdoor).
Based on my times and mileage, am I aerobically lacking? This summer I'm at 40 MPW now, getting up to 50 in a couple weeks. The last 100 or so meters were rough for me in my few spring 800s, and the 1500 was a struggle.
