Who?
Very intriguing. Good luck, Jordan.
it would be nice to see a Chris Derrick type of start..GO JORDAN
Who the F cares? She is like a 4:02 miler. Would you post that a 4:02 miler is joining a group? Seriously - enought with this lady until she does something noteworthy. She runs pedestrian times.
Smile like you mean it Rupp.

a 4.02 mile is no good for a woman?
She would never run that. she runs eqivalent to that for a guy. PEDESTRIAN!
hahaha like you could run faster
Actually yes - I ran 3:59 equivalent - she is 4:02 - you never had 1000 threads on me - and we need to quit having threads on her
she isn't a miler in the first place...
WOW WHAT A SURPRISE.

She'll regain her lost speed. Run a quick 1,500m.
is there anyone besides rupp that has thyroid problems?
if yes how many and what are the odds of any one person having this problem?
it seems the quoted poster is implying cheating within the group.
if only 1 out 100 people have this problem and half the people in the group has it, it would look extremely suspicious.
if half the people have thyroid problems and about half the group has it that makes sense.
if rupp is the only one in the group that has it, it does not seem shady at all as some people in fact do have the problem.
if only 1 out of a hundred in the general population have a thyroid problem and all or most in that group have it, then it proves guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
i have not heard of mo farah, mary cain, luke pudeskra, ritz, moser or hasay having the problem.
if someone actually knows list them and tell what is the mathematical probability of that number in that small group having the problem.
its a serious implication, so i just ask to back it up with a mathematical probability.
i meant is there anyone besides rupp in that group that has thyroid problems.
obviously there are people in the general population that have thyroid problems.

According to the above IAAF scoring tables your 3:59 mile is worth 1087 points.
Meanwhile, Jordan Hasay's 32:06 10k is worth 1134 points. This is the equivalent of a 3:55 mile (or 3:37 1500) for a man.
You, my friend, are what letsrun aficionados call a "looser".

Hasay's 4:10 1500 PR is worth 1126, still the equivalent of 3:55 mile for a man.

This argument has been batted back and forth on at least one other thread. To the Hasay haters, give it up. She landed a major sponsorship because she appeals to a massive group of young runners and fans. It's a business, not a meritocracy. People like her and want to see her do well. They don't care if she's not the best yet. You're missing the point of sponsorships and fan-dom.

She would've landed Nike no matter what, she appeals to a lot of women (and men.)
Landing Salazar means he has some sort of faith in her.
It's amazing how so-called "fellow runners" on this board can write such destructive rhetoric against a runner who has raised the bar in our sport. What is wrong with you idiots? Do you not want our sport to progress?
Jordan has been officially on these boards since she has been twelve years old. She has been continually trashed by losers of all types, now including this post. She has taken it in, digested it, and will most likely move on to greater heights than her 18-All American accomplishments at Oregon. This in itself is more All-American awards than any poster on this board can account for.
SHE NOW MOVES ON TO A PROFESSIONAL CAREER.
CONGRATULATIONS JORDAN!

32:06...think about that for a second.
God man, do you know nothing about track and field????
The best coach in the world at 10,000m, thinks he can get her to a faster time that she has already hit. Odds are he is right.
Smart move for her, and a hell of a lot smarter than someone who thinks that 32:06 for a collegiate female is "pedestrian"!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
