What would be a good 1500 workout 4-5 days before racing? It's a race where I want to try and run well. Should it be quicker reps with full rest? Or more tempo stuff? And why?

400-300-200-100 at race pace with leisurely rest
my favorite was 1200-500-300, with 10 min then 5 min recovery. ran this the week i set my 1500 PR and hit 3:03-72-42. helped to have 2 guys to run with and went on to run 3:49.

What about fast hill repeats? Like 6x30sec? Would that be beneficial week of?
150-300 meter repeats on race pace with long (~5 min) rest. Nothing that will break you down or build up lactate/H+ that you have to recover from.
You will not get a training gain at this time. The best thing you can do is rehearse race pace so its wired-in for race day.
