Pretty cool, eh? He skipped 1:46's entirely.
someone is ready to take the us crown
Solid PR, looks like he will drop a fast 1500 later in the season.
Thats a Wow.
1:45, yawn.
Wake me up when it's a 1:43.
Then he could be a contender.
As of know, he's a smart racer which is good enough for some cheap metal.
But he'll need 1:43 at least to ever sniff the crotch of a GOAT.

You see this?
This right here is why I love letsrun.
You know who else just ran about that exact same time earlier in the week? Asbel Kiprop. A guy with PR's of 1:43.1 and 3:28 and an olympic 1500 title to boot. I'm excited to see what he's going to do later this summer. Sub 3:30 may be in the cards in the right race
Its great progress. A step forward.
Remember this was a 2 miler in high school.
How many US high school 8:44 two milers ever went on to run 1:45 in the 800?
the dude ran a 3:51 mile last week.
i would expect a minimum of a 1:45 with a mark like that.

wow, Charles Jock not gettin it done either, Folks killing Andrews on here and Wheating at a time with rabitts slower than NCAA winning time with none?
"3 Wieczorek, Mark Brooks Beasts 1:45.85M 1"
Brooks has a team named after their slowest shoe?
How can a shoe be slow?
Uh...yeah and Tyler Mulder with the ein at 1:44.79! Hello? Does anyone see this guy? Its like I'm taking crazy pills and have no idea why anyone talks about wheating anymore. Also USAs eill be in ioea, mulder's home state, on a track he ran on constantly as a high school kid. Looks like he will be a contender for Moscow and people need to catch up
*iowa. I cant type on the phone
mark wieczorek is fast...? whaaaaaaaat?
Decent run for Wheating. No way he makes the 800 team though. He'll need to run the 1500 again.
The 8 is too stacked. Mulder, wieczorek running well. Sowinski, Solomon, Symmonds, and the college guys will be tough.
That's a good results for Centro and it's about the minimum for what he should be running for a tier 1 miler. 1:45.86 is around Steve Scott's 800m PR and Scott always considered himself lacking in raw speed. Also, it is nice to see Wheating rounding into shape, 1:46 is not that fast, but he is heading in the right direction.
Faster than the 800 PR for El G and Lagat.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
