Hey!
I weight now 64kg (140 pounds) and I´m 176cm (5,77 feet) in lenght.
I run 200 meters barely under 24 and I would like to keep running middle-distances, especially 800 meters. I´m clearly too slow. Now I do twice a week plyometrics at winter including about 200-300 jumps.
Would it be wise to start using gym once or twice a week to gain power? I would do squats and that kind of a sprinter stuff. I know it may give me some more weight, but probably could lower my 200m record to somewhere 22? At least it´s needed to go 800 meter about 1.45.
Now I don´t really know my maximum back squat, but its somewhere between 80-100kg (220 pounds). I think it would be wise to get it at least to 150kg (330 pounds)?
