Whats the qualifying for the finals? Top 4 or 5 and next couple fastest?

top 5 plus next 2 fastest times. Also the ranking is a ranking of PBs. I assembled the heats based on the regionals results and how NCAA creates their heats

May be, but then again Mudd was third indoors (and second after taking out Lawi Lalang). Since both have pretty good kicks, they seem like likely choices to make the final. Both are more racer-types than time-trial types (to see the difference, look at some that have had screaming PRs that did not place particularly well the last year or two).

Don't sleep on Ryan Hill. He's just as fit as he was indoors.

Don't be so sure of that, it isn't that easy.

This is not a case of Wheating, Centro, and Acosta...

These guys will all have to perform on the day to make the finals.

Stop. There is no way Chad Noelle will make the final. To the OP, Hatz and Mudd with definitely make the final, I don't know why you would think otherwise.

Anyone who sleeps on Hill is not looking at what he has done on repeated occasions. He is one of the strongest several in the field.

I wonder will Ben Saraal (sp?) will add to this field as early as next year; that kid cankick and he has tactical savvy to go with the kick.

Zach Perkins has one of the slowest PRs, but he has not lost a race since December 1st except for finishing 5th in the Regional. If it goes tactical, which is more likely in the first heat, dont be surprised if he makes the final. Dont forget he beat Fleet, Noelle, Simons, and McGregor in the tactical race at Regionals.

1) The three people who have made a list of qualifiers all had Hill on their list.

This is operating under the assumption that heat 2 is faster and has the 2 time qualifiers.

I personally guarantee you that Hill will win. Everyones counting him out, just like they've done his entire collegiate career.

Who's counting him out? You are like the 4th person on the thread to sing his praises.

Ryan Hill has not won an NCAA Championship in his career, so shut up. He has had a prolific career and should be a solid pro. However, Ryan Hill does not run with enough gusto to win this title. Bayer and Casey to battle it out the last 100m with Bayer finding a way to win

Expect the final to be fast if Masters is in it. He has taken the pace out hard most of his races this season, and knows he needs to kick with 500 to go. That being said, that tactic should drop most of the field excluding Casey, Bayer, and Hill.

Hell, maybe someone will grow a pair and go for the A.

Jeremy Rae isn't even mentioned and he already has a national title under his belt in the dmr. If it comes down to a kick (which it usually does), he'll be the man to beat.
