12:57.35 for the win!
Longosiwa 2nd, Farah 3rd.

PR and a win for the Rupps. 12:55 with the mask, 12:56 without the mask.
The pacers aren't too ambitious so I'm going to say he kicks for second in 12:56, beating Farah for the first time.
Either 12:53.1 AR and the win or 13:06 6th-7th and allergy excuses.
Rupp 12:55 with TUEs perfectly dialed-in.
Rupp 13:20 if he misses his appointment with his Houston doctor.
12:51 for the win and American record... it'll be the story of the meet.
Houston doctor? Links?

PR for Rupp.
I hope he beats Farah. Lagat hasn't raced yet but he's probably ready to roll too.
lets see..
salazar reports rupp is in his best shape ever.
which is better than silver medal shape.
which means he's at farah's level from last year.
rupp for the win then over a b+ farah.
i have a hunch it's going to be tactical after 3k, so the time might not be that great, or if someone takes off at 3k and the pack follows then your talking american record.
of course if the weather is bad, forget about records.
I'm guessing we may see a sub 44 400m
Look out for the Eritrean, Souleiman in the mile. He's been on a tear.
Cant wait to see what Cain will do.
Al Rop wilns 5K
Rupp followed by a fast closing, out of nowhere performance from Ritz. Both sub 13:00.
OK... unlikely (the Ritz part), but would love to see it out of Dathan.
Souleiman is strong, but he can't kick--at least, he hasn't proven he can yet. He got outkicked by Lagat in the 1500 last season at adidas, and Kiprop, who dispatched him handily in Doha, will do the same at Prefontaine.
Time 13:03. No clue on place.

uhhmmm .. you DO remember Galen won silver in the 10 000m, right? The 5000m he came a distant 7th.
So this does NOT mean he's at Farah's (5000m) level from last year. Or anything like it.

Rupp fan boys are full of excuses. Rupp never has a bad race. There is always a good excuse. How about this one:
"A dog ate his training schedule."
i think rupp will PR today. maybe 12:55ish
