This will be the race of the meet with 3 sub 13:20 guys. Who ya got?
Lalang will have the 10k in his legs. The other 2 will be fresh. Any chance it's somebody else (Chelimo, Lelei)?
I can't wait.

LEEEEERRRROOOOOOOY JENNNNNKINNSSSS
what about kennedy kithuka? is he not in it?
So stoked for this matchup! I really want to see Estrada finally win a title, but I think Jenkins' kick will be too strong. Regardless of whether Estrada or Jenkins wins, I think Lawi ends up 2nd.
Kithuka is not in the race.
Surprised there hasn't been more talk of this. Mecheso should be able to give Lawi a decent run at least on Thursday, which will make the 5k seemingly dead even. 3 of the top 10 all time battling it out!
I'll take:
1. Jenkins
2. Lalang
3. Estrada
4. Chelimo
5. Erassa
Are you guys serious?
If Lawi can beat Jenkins in a 7:44 3k 2 hours after a 3:55 mile then he can easily win a 5k two days after a 10k.
Lawi has a better kick than these guys and his PR's faster so there's no hope in pushing the pace.
I'd say Paul Chelimo is a wild card. He ran 13:21 last year and got second to Levins.
He hasn't seemed to perform as well this year but who knows what shape he'll be in at nationals. Won't beat Lawi but a potential second placer.
1. Lawi
2. Jenkins
3. Estrada
4. Chelimo
5. Kemoy Campbell
Chelimo is in really good shape right now. He cruised to a 13:4x at regionals. He barley got out-kicked by Levins last year at nationals, I guarantee he can out-kick Lawi who's coming off the 10k, jenkins, and Estrada
Lawi may win but Jenkins beats Estrada 8 times out of 10
I'm going with:
1. Jenkins
2. Estrada
3. Lawi
Chelimo solo'd a 3:40 gun to tape last year.
Everything I've heard and read from Chelimo and his coach is that he's been dealing with injury all year. Probably why he hasn't reached the form of last year and will also probably keep him from the winner's circle Saturday.

I thought I read in some thread last week that he was injured
Kithuka has red-shirted this outdoor season.
What an absolute bunch of suckers. Are any of you guys older than 15? Talk about falling for the hype...Jenkins for the win??? Cmon. Use your heads.

That's a weird prediction....
As a foreigner whos not able to watch this on live stream or whatever you guys do to watch it (TV?), is there really nobody who films these races and put them on youtube? Each year I struggle with finding a video of the distance races.
Chelimo for the win.
Running Boston is tough especially BU where it is nestled in the city. Besides running on the Charles where does BU train?? He should get style points for training in a city

I'm sorry? What makes this ridiculous? Jenkins having a legit chance to win the 3k indoors if not for the fouls (regardless of whether it was his fault). His rate of improvement which....would anyone argue is less than Lawi's? So who would you wager has improved mor since indoors. you'd have to be an idiot to bet against that particular point. So if you have a Jenkins who is more improved, and a Lawi who has been stagnent for a long time, you might have a pretty damn good race on your hands.
