The linguist Steven Pinker of Harvard claims that 'I could care less' is not a mistake but rather said with the stress on a different word than 'I couldn't care less', and hence, meaningful. I don't buy his conclusion, but there it is.

I've defended its use as a sarcastic variant.
It's essentially an abbreviated form of (sarcastic voice), "Yeah, like I could ACTUALLY care less about what you gave your dog for Christmas." And then, "Oh, you do? You think I could possibly care less about something than your stupid dog's mittens you bought him? Who buys dog mittens anyway? I really don't give two cents about what you got Mr. Biggles." Implication being I couldn't actually care less...the "could care less" is simply a sarcastic deviant (deviant actually isn't a "bad" thing, but I'm sure you grammar nazis knew that).

Not sure what you are trying to say here, but you aren't saying it. m/s seconds is not a unit of .... anything.
I read it again for the 10th time.
Did you mean 9.14 in a 1.0 m/s wind?
m/s seconds is actually a unit of distance - meters, specifically

Touché.
But could we say that "in 1.0 m/s" is a prepositional phrase (albeit grossly misplaced), rendering the sentence, "Christophe Lemaitre ran 100m in 9.14 seconds today"? Perhaps an offset by dashes would have been more apropos.
Yes - Chambers looks like he is going over the hill now. Has looked less powerful since the indoor season, but is still bulky if not bulkier than last year. Collins is evergreen as usual!
Weir/Lemaitre - well, you couldn't accuse them of taking roids, they are like me - not bulky at all, only with muscle in the behind and quad/calves. My only problem was I was 1.75m (5ft 9in), and no amount of turnover could catch a height advantage, unless I hit the weights/training/plyo hard. But I doubt my body would have kept on all the muscle mass... Maybe it's similar for these guys. Collins always looks very slim.

I couldn't care less about that which Steven Pinker claims.

When does Lemaitre open his diamond league season?
He is the only clean 100/200m runner in history.
The data doesn't lie.
Kim Collins or Christophe?
How about.....
Mel Patton, Andy Stanfield, Livio Burruti, Bobby Morrow, Dave Sime, Hal Davis, Mike Agostini, Thane Baker, Barney Ewell, Edwin Roberts, Ray Norton, Jerry Bright, John Moon, Benie Rivers, Frank Budd, Paul Drayton.....well?
Doubt you can talk any of them so how do you know anything about them?
