I have not had to take more than a week off for injuries for the past four years. Went from a 2:55 marathon to 2:47 as a master. I am thinking about taking a training break to refresh my legs and let a few aches and pains heal up.
What has worked for you as far as taking a training break?
How long?
Run at all?
Lift weights?
Cross train?
Did you gain weight?
How long to get back fitness?
