Food for thought: When Ben Saarel ran his 800 PR of 1:51:91 (not 1:52.64), his splits were roughly 59/52. To suggest he can run a lot faster is a major understatement...

Wynne ran 1:51.87 at Greater Hartford Invitational and 9:04.34 at Irv Black Invitational. In your writeup you list his PRs as 1:53 and 9:30!!! Wynne is going to win!!!
Im gonna have to go with arroyo for the win in 359.8. He's got that nasty speed and has not been in a crazy competitive race in the mile yet. I think it will be interesting. Hes a fierce competitor and very confident. He will go after it and has a devastating kick.

No chance tomorrow on anyone breaking 4. I would say even with nice weather, no one does, but the weather changed pretty quickly the past two days.
Rain and lots of wind. 20mph says weather.com. And being on Randall's island will make sure every ounce of the wind is noticeable.
Saarel just ran a 4:07:95 1600m at the Utah state HS meet (Utah record) which is at altitude and the next day won the 800m in a state record of 1:51:13.

When are they going to outlaw the 1600 and the 3200? While a case can be made for running four (or eight) laps around a track, these distances are only run in U.S. high schools, no where else! It is not that difficult to move it back a few yards and make it a mile.
For the love of god! change the distance!
Don't care who wins, just looking to watch a great, fast, sub-4 race.

I just like what I see with Arroyo and find it hard to think of anyone running away from him.
His 53/54 800 looked very commanding and he isn't afraid of the laps.
I don't care what his 1600m PR is if it wasn't done with much of an effort.
My main concern would be sharpness. I think it's been a little bit since his last race and if you lose that groove you just feel flat.

Arroyo will take it in 3:58. The kid has gears that no one in this field can match. He wants it bad and is there to run sub 4. Just the win would not satisfy Arroyo.
Arroyo, Saarel, Montoya. If the rabbit does a good job, and 1:57 may be too fast as I think negative splits would be better, then at least 2 sub 4.
