I was your average 13:22 5,000 runner until I got the spira's. Worked like a charm for me, I guarantee they'll work for you too or my name isn't Kenenisa Bekele
Like many of you, I was skeptical. I was so slow, like utra-runner slow. But then I got Spiras, and within 2 weeks I set a new marathon WR. I think it was because I was so embarrassed to be wearing them, that I ran away from everyone as quickly as possible. Thank you Spira!!
Well I found this thread, which was referenced in their facebook page (that explains quite a bit)

But now I want some letsrunners testimonials
Lol, did they really have that thread on their FB page? 80% of the posts on that thread were fake, and the rest were trolls having fun or real posters talking about how much those shoes are a joke. You could spot the fake positive threads from a mile away. Why on earth would they want to draw more attention to it?
Hey Everyone,
If you would take a moment and respond to this inquiry on letsrun.com on your own experience with our running shoes, it would be appreciated!! Don't forget to have a great run today!

I was first introduced to Spira shoes by a friend of mine. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first, but after the initial feel (light, sturdy, comfortable) I decided to give them a chance. Let me tell you, I was AMAZED by the results. After training in Spira shoes for two months I hopped into my 13th marathon - previous personal best 3:29 - and ran 2:25. Not only pleased with the PR, but the back, knee, and shoulder pain I had been running with for nearly two decades had disappeared. Gone! Like it have never been there to begin with. So I started recommending the shoes to some of my patients and I could not have predicted the results for those who accepted the challenge:
Of 37 patients currently undergoing treatment for cancer - 35 showed FULL remission within 5 runs in Spira shoes. The other two died, but they were pretty far along anyways (not a ton of hope).
Average 5k PR of 9 minutes, average marathon PR of 68 minutes.
23% more firm erections (only those that were male, obviously)
41% reduction in gray hair and 72% replenishment of previously lost hair (in older patients who had experienced balding).
Body pain often associated with running was also reduced nearly 81%.
If I can offer up ANY sound advice as a professional in healthcare, it would be to run in Spira shoes. They've saved countless lives, running careers, erections, marriages, grades, you name it. Panacaea for life. Buy 400 pairs!
