400/800 runner (PR 1,52 / 48,3)
My week right now looks like
Day 1 : Session (Special Endurance for 400 m) + Sprints
ex: 3 x (250-150) + 3 x 4 x 40 m
Day 2 : 30 min + strides + weights/strength
ex: 4-5 mi, 3 x 100, weights/strength
Day 3 : Session (some 600s stuff included)
Day 4 : 40 min
Day 5 : 20 min + strides + easy sprints
ex: 3 mi, 5 x 150, 5 x 80, weights/strength
Day 6 : Session (800 pace)
ex: 2 x (400-200-200-200)
Not running that much miles but instead doing a lot of quality work - I'm not a runner with that much endurance to do 60 min long runs but instead have the speed
Anything I can do better ? Do you get any other weekly plans for 400/800 m ?
