Not saying I know the guy personally, but he sounded like a mean person who didn't have anything positive to say about anyone. Do any of YOU know him personally?
Tom Heinonen has contributed more to track and field than practically everyone who posts of this site put together: a terrific runner in his time, and a fine coach at Oregon. He's a bit folksy, but he's complimentary even of a less than stellar performance.
