Perfect weather then - the middle of "winter", w/ the winds from Antarctica blowing up. Surf is amazing then too.
don't try to run on the streets if you are in Kuta or Ubud. Madness. No sidewalks without a 2ft dip every 50m, and open holes in the storm drains. Bike rides are nice, esp around Ubud.
Treadmill is much safer. If your hotel/guesthouse does not have one, there are many healthclubs in Kuta you can use.
Does anyone remember the "Bob Hasan 10Km" ?
It was a world class road race funded by Bob Hasan, who was an Indonesian plywood producer and a multi millionaire.
In spite of the heat some very fast times were recorded there.
I'll be on the north coast. Were roaming dogs a problem?
Lovina is a toilet. Stay in the south.
Its work: no choice about it.
Forget running. Isn't the whole reason to be in Bali is to randomly hook up with hot tourists from Scandinavia and Australia?
Just returned. Forget it. Go surf.
Forget it. Was there at christmas and was in decent shape. Just couldn't maintain it there. No where to run. Too humid. Terrible food.
