FROM OREGONTF:
"Stanford Invitational: Hasay's 10K time of 32:06.64 not only UO and Pac-12 record but also No, 4 in NCAA history."
Her second 10,000 EVER?
Big PROPS!

32:06 is NCAA #4 all-time? Weak.
God shut up A Duck
Who is ahead of her historically ??
Who is the fastest american born ?
I just posted nearly the same thing. Those of us down here are pretty damned proud of Jordan right now. I don't know what is your problem with someone giving her kudos for an amazing accomplishment.
I don't know that the stat is correct, but obviously one of those ahead is Saina, who is likely pulling down the 10 points at Nationals.
Good point, (for a change) coach d. Saina is what, about 25 years old, against Jordan who is barely 21.
Come on, she can legally drink for the last 7 months. Somehow when coach d etc. make such statements it leads me not to read anything that they write.
I almost broke out laughing myself. He predicts Saina will win 10 points at NCAA's. Gee, coach d, why not go out on a limb and make some more of your infamous "Centro is finished" predictions?
taliamuk or whatever her name is (another kenyan type) finished like a second behind Jordan for the 5th fast NCAA time ever.
Here's the updated top 10 NCAA all-time list:
31:18.07 Lisa Uhl (Iowa State)
31:25.45 Sally Kipyego (Texas Tech)
31:37.22 Betsy Saina (Iowa State)
32:06.64 Jordan Hasay (University of Oregon)
32:07.20 Aliphine Tuliamuk-Bolton (Wichita State)
32:12.47 Deborah Maier (Cal)
32:14.27 Meaghan Nelson (Iowa State)
32:17.10 Christine McMiken' (Oklahoma State)
32:19.97 Alicia Craig (Stanford)
32:22.50 Kellie Cathey (Oklahoma)
I just got back from the meet. Aliphine Tuliamuk-Bolton was in the lead group with Kim Smith and Betsy Saina. That group was ~200m ahead of Jordan for a good portion of the race. With ~4 laps to go, Betsy started to fade as Jordan was surging, but I thought no way that she'd catch her. She got her just before the line. It was a great race by Hasay, but she got stuck in no-man's-land in the middle of it and had to push the pace herself. She was hanging out behind Uhl and Spence at the beginning, and I thought she was in the perfect spot, but they conked out and Jordan had to go around them. Spence ultimately DNF'ed.

Jordan like always, seems to be the first American to finish. Go USA!
Good point. I will have to go back and search all the nationals Jordan has been in, and all the 23-24 year old foreigners who have beaten her. It's amazing.
Saina is also a REDSHIRT.
Dig that. Birtdate: 03/30/1988
And a Redshirt.
It's crazy.
she is no longer a high schooler. unless she wins races i could care less about jordan hasay,
Does Natosha Roger's 31:59 at OT's count? Don't see it on the list.
Nope, after NCAA meet. As a big time D1 coach with insider info, I know.
