Mark Kirwan-Mills is a pasty hack. He should be at least $101.

There's no way he'll get through 4 laps without taking his pants off.

Someone needs to get an Irish or German 1500/Miler into one of these things. That is how you get the world record.

The PBMC is hopeful that Nick Symmonds will race in one of our events.

The odds are given even though he may not start.

The PBMC organises two races a year, the Autumn Classic Beer Mile and the Parkville Beer Mile (to be held on Saturday, 21st September this year).

Does anyone know if Shane Warne will make an appearance again this year?....he stood out among the crowd at the Spring Classic with his gorgeous tufts of blonde hair. He wasn't the greatest beer miler but was one fine looking male specimen, albeit a bit smaller in real life than he looked on TV.

I was waiting for my chance to try it on with him but he seemed to disappear soon after the event finished. I suppose he had to get back to Liz Hurley and the kids. Maybe this year I will nab him....

All competitors must invert the empty can or bottle over their head before starting the next lap.

The 2012 Parkville Beer Mile (ratified by beermile.com with 3 of the top 10 all time performances) followed this procedure.

McSweeney is doing NZ proud.

Sampson, on the other hand, spends too much time trying to look good while he runs. At the last beer mile he nearly got beaten by his wife.

He needs to train harder and do what his coach tells him.
