Okay, so 3.5-4 weeks ago I ran a 2:07 800m, along with a 10:50 3200 right after. Now, I struggle to break 2:10 and get winded very quickly in the 800, yet I continue to PR in the mile and 2 mile. Ive begun doing more speed work and speed endurance work to try to improve my 8, which doesnt seem to be working, and i run about ~45 mpw. I'm a sophomore in h.s. If it helps im 5'10 155 and go to the gym about 3-4 times a week. Is there any way I can break this plateau in the 800? More base miles maybe?
