question is whether the africans would have let hall get away at say 64 pace for the 1/2 distance. Hard to say. The women's favorites let two people get away - and at least one of them was roughly Hall's speed.
no way to answer that - I would guess that they would have let Hall get away since he never seems to be there at the end of a marathon. So maybe Hall coulda done something today.
It doesn't matter cause they couldn't get to the starting line. Not unreasonable to believe they are all done.
if by healthy you mean them not dropping out...
Meb would have have been racing for the win. Prob would have finished ahead of Hartman, just behind the 3rd place guy. Hall, assuming he didn't drop out would have been way back in 7th - 10th, same with Abdi. I just can't see Abdi finishing any races though.

I mean healthy as in they weren't struggling with injury and had no reason to drop out - similar to Hall's 2011 or 2010 form (not perfect but very good). So definitely not 7th-10th in 2:14 or whatever that was.
Predictable. Hall and Meb would have stayed in the pack until the Africans decide it's time to stop jogging

like in 2011?
He would have won by 5 minutes.
he would have dropped out.
I don't know but Yuki Kawauchi would have dominated
He would have done the airplane while gliding in for a 5th place finish.
The East African women didn't even recognize that portugese broad and they thought she was just another runner out there to blow up.
The East African men are very aware of Ryan Hall so if he is to even push 63:00 at the half, they are not going to let him go off.
Clearly, he would have set off at his usual 2:04 pace in the beginning and blown everyone away.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
