Why does Poore consider himself a steepler? With Bayer there to help him with speed and how effortless he runs, he is a 5k or 10k for sure.
He is a much stronger runner than steeplechase where he has been stuck at 8:35 for couple years.
Back 10 -12 years ago 13:33 was a bigtime. A fresh and rising star. Now its someone training partner who rabbits the faster ones in pratice.
Still a nice run for Poore
what is the singlet he wore in that race? I want that so bad
Eddy Mother Humping Lee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Getting a PR of 13:33 is pretty impressive, but how do you get to a point that you would even mention the sub 13:10 comment, let alone post that thought on LR? It seems like a pretty big stretch to me.
Good luck to Poore though, he's a good guy.
I see sponsored by Adidas, but does he actually get paid or just equipment, travel, bonuses?
No, Andrew Poore is not a furture 13:10 5000m runner unless he starts taking EPO (assuming he isn't already).

props to these two. still getting it done year after year. they may not be big contenders or money makers, but they still can own plenty of scalps!
Willie Nelson sub 14, NICE!!!
