Saw this on ESPN a while ago, the son is also getting looks for D-1 football. Which would be a shame because he's good at two sports and I'm bad at Tough Mudders.

Here's a link to the ESPN article. The younger Randall wants to play football and compete in track in college. It mentions at the bottom of the piece that UNLV doesn't have a men's team, which could count them out of the running. Do not be surprised if he ends up at Oregon or UCLA, especially if he has a good summer on the camps circuit.

Rocket Randall was the most exciting qb ever to suit up for the birds. You should have seen his high jump moves as he lept over defenders who were left grabbing nothing but air. I don't how you can high jump and play football, high jumping and football are incompatible for several reason. Btw, I am more impressed with his sister jumping 5" 10' as a freshman. 5" 10' has to be close to a freshman record. Btw, Randall Cunningham is probably the best quarterback not in the HOF.
His brother was Sam Bam Cunningham. Played for USC.I think maybe New England in the NFL.

Was there when he jumped 7'2. I went to watch my younger sister race at Bonanza hs when I notice this guy going for 6'8. Idol why but the organizers didnt let people know what was goin on until he was jumping 7. Nice to see locals doing it big!
