The most obvious I think Lasse Viren 1972 Olympics 10000M. World Record to boot.
Not sure if there is any video of it except of the entire race so I will not link it
but that was early in the race, not 200m from the finish like HD.

fawn dorr was in the race
Ngugi is said in the 1990 Commonwealth games to have tripped, lost 35 meters, caught up, gained a 40 meter lead, and then been nipped at the line for 2nd.
I don't know if there's video of this, it would be remarkable to see.
John Landy, 1956 1500m Aussie Natitionals, tripped over the leader who fell after the second lap. John went back to help the runner get up, the guy got up and quickly started running away. John followed and eventually pulled ahead of everybody to win the race
Rupp fell hard in the 2011 NYC half, and still got up and finished what - 2nd?
Billy Mills.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXV68wJw1GcWhen I think of someone who fell and still finished in the top of a race I think of Andrew Gardner from Spokane Washington at a Regional race. Top three qualify for state and he falls a little after the beginning of the last lap.
Fastforward to 4:25 for the fall.

Even before that Rupp fell to his knees, tied his shoe, and still won the NCAA 5,000 his SR year
1982 Vitalis Olympic Invitational indoor meet at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. Alberto Salazar got tripped and fell hard on the track on the first lap of the 5000. He got up, eventually got back in contact with the pack, and went on to win in 13:23.
Didn't Moses Kiptanui fall, then recover to win his race?
I think it would be possible to fall during a marathon, get up, and still do well. If said marathon was on a track, of course...
Does anybody remember when Andy Powell fell like 5 times at the end of Footlocker Northeast Regionals? He didn't finish in the top four but he made the team.

The runner he stepped on was not some random guy, but Ron Clarke!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LZK5YbJkYQEdna Kiplagat fell and injured her knee in the 2011 world champs marathon and still won.
Natosha Rogers fell at the trials and finished 2nd.
Heather Dorniden-Kampf fell in a 600m race and still sprinted back like crazy to take the win.
