Lawi's last 400: 56.27 (27.5)
Hill's Last 400: 54.14 (26.4)
Hill closed 2+ seconds faster over 400 and 1+ seconds faster over the last 200!!!
The takeaway is that the field can't be scared of the east Africans. Lawi was only 1:59 at 800, but the field let him get a big gap. Giving anyone a 3 second lead with 400 to go is basically handing them the trophy, it's not like Lawi did anything outstanding...the field just had no balls to chase him.
