Unless you went to the Olympics or your sport's World Championships, leave off the "accomplishments" part.
I would definitely list that you were a varsity athlete in whatever sport (I assume CC/track on this site), as it explains what you did with a lot of your time. See, other people will have volunteering and other academic extracurricular activities that you might not have. Intercollegiate athletics explains why you might not have those.
In interviewing students for medical school, we actually do take that into account. It doesn't help them, per se, but if they're a little light on clinical volunteering while a two-sport athlete, it at least explains things.
