I remember when they won in 2011, I thought to myself, "My god, they won without their best guy - how is that possible?"

Now Cabral is really good but he wasn't like he is now in 2011.

It will be interesting to see if Callahan can stay healthy to make it through outdoors and be strong enough to run rounds.

This was a performance to be proud about. Vig won at Texas, produced Manzano, then Robby Andrews at Virginia, and now an NCAA title at a school with no scholarships. The man can flat out coach.

"Produced" Leo Manzano and Robby Andrews. I seem to remember those two guys as being pretty good before they went to college

Robbie Creese ran a game race against a very good trio of competitors just a little after his 4:01 Mile qualifier. Us navel gazers are still proud. Hats off to Princeton.

I was surprised non of the quartet thanked their coaches.

What impresses me about Princeton's relay dominance over the past few years is that its really been a program effort. Their Penn Relays and now NCAA victories have come from a number of different runners, and under different coaches as well. It's been a dominating group that has used interchangeable parts to keep producing.

Yep. Ivy schools don't provide athletic or academic scholarships. However, due to their massive endowments they tend to offer generous financial aid packages.

Sorry to be snarky, but please tell me you're a state-school alum and not an Ivy grad.

Having run for Vig at UVa and being a big Vig hater, I have two things to say.

1) He is a good middle distance coach, but certainly not the god people make him out to be. He is a great recruiter though and knows how to get talent to perform.

2) He is a huge narcacist and can be a huge dick to athletes he believes to be second class.
