Did he?
Did he?
Who?
Not there but as it was shown on the webcast -- not a doubt. Raw rookie starters would call it by eye 99.8% of the time.
He probably jumped the gun by about 0.2 seconds. I think he was actually coming out of the blocks when the gun sounded.
I am not sure that this is a bad thing for him. It happened in an important race, but I think it could help him down the road as he works to prevent that problem from recurring. And, knowing that Bolt did so on the (almost) biggest stage will give him some perspective.
I was there, but we had our own athletes to deal with (the 800 semi was right after the 60), so I didn't see it. But I will say this. Bracy is unbelievably quick out of the blocks. The youtube videos of his high school races are out there--go watch them. In his first big hs race, I was very sure that he caught a flyer and jumped the gun....and then he had another race, and he did it again! You don't get lucky twice.
Bracy has a reputation, and there is no excuse to just calling him down because it "looks" too fast to be "fair". But I'll bet that's exactly what they did. Two guys from the same team (that could have scored 18) both being DQ FS? Now that's a different deal--suspicious. It will be interesting to see what the final team scores are.

Yet you feel compelled to bloviate about it. It was as clear a FS as you will ever see.
No doubt about either although Bracy's was blatant. He has been timing or "guessing" his entire career and with electronic sensor blocks he is going to find out he can't get "lucky." Thing he needs to understand is he just needs to react to the sound of the gun and he will be fine. Locke was not as bad but still a false start and not simply a "flinch."
Watch the replay. Those two clowns from fsu were gone. Gone. Gone. Gone.

Coach d says that he had an athlete in the 800. Do we believe that? It would mean he coaches at one of LSU, Oregon, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Illinois, Duke, Texas, Stanford, Harvard, Hampton, ASU, Kent State, Purdue, BYU, Tennessee, Loyola Chicago, Arkansas, Minnesota, Penn State, Florida, Villanova, Miss. State, Akron, or Western Kent. That's only 24 schools.
I am sure if someone looked at his old posts we could probably knock out a large number of those schools as well. (For instance just going off the top of my head I don't think he coaches at Oregon or Oklahoma State). Who wants to search through his old posts as well as coaching directories at schools and unmask Coach d???
I watched the replay of the livestream and I did not think they had false started when watching it in real time. I didnt see any early movement when compared to the gun. Both were fsu athletes and both were in lane 2. The fact that it was lane 2 both times seemed extremely weird. When watching it in slo-mo you see obvious early movement but there was no audio on the slow motion so you werent able to tell if was an actual false start(movement before the gun). I was thinking there were fautly problems coming from behind lane 2s blocks from that speaker attachment. Check it out for yourself. Dont let this travesty go unheralded!!
