Are you kidding? She looks healthy and toned. Just an elite body. Very similar to Shalane Flanagan. She's been on this level for two years now, consistently improving

Why should we be concerned with her weight? She looked a lot better than the Oregon girl(who finished last) and a few others bringing up the rear of the race. We should be concerned because she is thin and won?

still 15:28x2=30:56 and Saina's run 31:15 for 10k. Either D'Agostino can run low 15 (unlikely) or Saina's a bit off right now or Saina's true distance is the marathon because she has no speed and tons of endurance and barely slows down.

Abbey D can run faster than she did today.

I would bet that Coogan has her doing regular strength training. To use a car analogy, Coogan is making sure that the frame can support the engine. And similar to what Salazar said about Galen Rupp squating big weights for his size, I would venture to say that she would fall in the same category.

I don't think Coogan is big on weights. More calisthenics. Abbey D looks the way she does because she's super fit. And I have it on good authority that she eats a lot.

We`ll see. She wasn`t this lean before. Look at her pics from 2010-2011. Being lighter is definitely contributing to her fast times.

Very thin line between being lean but healthy and an eating disorder.

Also, Shalane is not as lean either (Kara and Desi certainly are not)

Hopefully she is healthy, because she is sure running darn well.

No doubt she's lost quite a bit of weight.

Certainly been a string of mighty impressive races--I, too, just hope she hasn't crossed that line.

You seriously think Abbey is leaner than Shalane? Anyone who thinks Abbey has a weight problem needs to get their eyes checked.
