Well, that means an extra loaf for the seventh placer, who I hear is totally going to tear it up at Pre Classic this year. He has awesome seats near the finish line.

What's that metric called that adjusts for age? It seems like the 3rd place guy, at age 39, might be the "winner" in terms of that age metric thing?!

Julia Webb was the women's winner in 29:01. Pretty good for having an 8 month old baby.

Tony Rinck is a very good runner 39 or otherwise.

This is exciting to me. Obviously, this is not an amazing race result. I'm sure these guys do tempos at this pace or faster often. This does show, however, that he is not completely injured right now and has some basic level of fitness. Hopefully we'll see him open up strong on the track this spring.

Agree. This is a guy who can get in shape fast. Just stay healthy. Less is more for a while. Chasing Derrick Bumbi Lomong and Heath will be good for him.

I am glad he is running. CD did say GF and AW had minor injuries and were getting ready for outdoors which is not too far away. :)

Indeed, not sure if A. Webb could even run that these days.

totally agree. best of all he only has "22M" next to his result, still has plenty of time to get shiz together. focus should be on putting a solid, healthy spring/summer together...but you gotta wonder what he can achieve with 2,3,4,5+ years of quality training IF he can string them together! would rather see him peak late than never at all!

Nope. Age adjusted, Rinck gets a 24:52, good for 2nd place.

As a Fan Boy I'm happy too that he's out there doing his thang! But it seems a little lack luster ? We all know that he's more than capable of ripping out a 22 or 23 minute 5 mile workout. I wish he'd just Tweet or come out and say that, "Its' this or it's that in my legs, etc...". What does "beat up" actually mean quoting CD? He just cant let guys like "Cam-shot" Levins steal his MOJO! He's gotta get out there and put it to'em man! Come on Hermano - let's see it.
