How many people would truly care that you were dead?
How many people would truly care that you were dead?
probably only 3-5
My parents would be very and I have several friends that would be sad for a while but would get over within a few days after the funeral.

I've often thought about this.
I've been a teammate, teacher, volunteer, and coach, would anyone care if I passed? Tough to say.
Obviously I want to say a lot of people, but honestly, outside of immediate family, probably like 3, maybe 4.
About 14. I'm OK w/ that.
Most of the students in my 8am class.
Immediate family. And a few more if you owe money.
Though I still occasionally grieve for my dog.
Once you are gone, its time for the rest to move on. So get cremated. Then no one will feel they are obligated to hang around and bring flowers. That gets old.
Hopefully 0, me included. I don't want anyone to care when I die. Not sure, probably 30-50.
15-20 tops. Everyone else would be sad for a couple of days, then move on.
I don't think your FB friends count.
Eight

~7.1 billion
Most people would probably give a number equal to their number facebook friends since they think these people actually care about them. I'm smarter than that. I have one Facebook friend. 6-7 people would care, 2-3 would be sad, the rest would rejoice.
Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours.

Hmmmm...lets see
girlfriend, mother, father, sister, grandmother, aunt, 5 cousins, uncle, about 20 friends, about 35 coworkers and maybe about 15 other random people.
so about 83 people would care
less than 10 would really care Im sure
But ask your self this how many people do you know that you would really care about losing? My guess is your numbers will be roughly the same.
Approximately 14 close friends and family members would be emotionally devastated.
At least 4 people at work would be emotionally devatstated and approximately 10 would be seriously adversely affected from either an emotional or logistical point of view.
