won by a nice margin! curious to know when he put the distance on!
He did it lapping dudes too. He put a serious hurting on the field over the last two laps, I would like to know what his last lap was.
It is not rounded anything. It is a different reading mechanism -- the camera compared to the electric eye, which can be set either before or after and get a different part of the body (I think).
He really is of to a great start this year. I'm sure the haters will be here soon.

Ok thanks
#7 all time ahead of Kenny B
Really great RACE. I hope this new trend of not ducking fast competition continues!

to be fair to rupp, he is not ducker - for the last couple of years he has been in a lot of races, in and out of his speciality.
On his way to GOAT status.... awesome
It's called "TUEing."
Here's where this puts Rupp 7th all time:
1 7:24.90 Daniel Komen
2 7:26.15 Haile Gebrselassie
3 7:27.80 Yenew Alamirew
4 7:28.00 Augustine Choge

Wow. Lagat held his "sweep" of U.S. indoor records for all of five days or so. Fantastic rivalry.
I really wish I could have watched this. I think Flotrack is ruining the sport.
Kip Lagat better set an AR in the half because he's not going to have an AR under 5k by the time Rio rolls around.
