He faces 7 counts of attempted murder.
Strange that the case was dropped and then just re-opened 2 days ago!
Credibility of the prosecution's witness takes a hammer blow. Job done. Everybody has the right to a fair trial. If Oscar was just some guy on benefit who had shot his girlfriend dead, his defence still would no doubt have been able to pull the same strings. Justice is awesome.
Defense attorney is doing his job. Earning every cent.
Here we go again. We are going to have another OJ Simpson circus. The Pistorius defense team is going to distract everyone from the actual murder. You are going to see attention being focused on the lead detective. You will see how the detectives weren't perfect in their investigation. The defense team will dazzle the jury with slight of hand. Watch the defense put the focus on everyone but Oscar.
Its obvious that Pistorius committed murder. Just like OJ Simpson. The question is whether or not he will get away with it in the South African courts.
what the f*** is this shit. somebody needs to let kai the hitchhiking agent of justice loose in south africa.
Two words:
SOUTH AFRICA.
If Oscar gets off he will likely have a ban from Track and Field for his use of PEDS. They may convict him on some minor charge of illegal possession of a firearm which would prevent him from traveling to the western world. I just hope that he losses all his money too; that way he would've unemployable and broke in Africa.
He is clearly guilty of murder; he shot agin and she is dead. Someone should not get off murder charges because they failed to ascertain the identity of the source of a noise in the house.

Isn't it "slide of hand" not slight of hand.

From what I understand Oscar has admitted to killing her. I don't think he gets off.
He may however, avoid the pre-meditated murder charge.

*Facepalm*
It's neither, but your version is worse than the original spelling mistake. It's 'sleight of hand'.

lol
This is truly bizarre.
The police murder tons of folks in the USA every year and never even get indicted. They get investigated and exonerated -- 100% of the time.

Apparently there are no jury trials in SA, the case is heard by a judge. But still, you are correct, the defense team will (and already is) pulling every string they can.

He didn't have PEDs, that was falsely reported.

Sleight of hand actually. And you meant "It's".

Is that the penalty for having a gun? You can't travel anymore? I think you meant "loses" and "would be".
Who is agin?
