Ray Flynn should encourage him to switch to Marcus. Robby is going nowhere fast if he doesn't switch.
Think of all the fanboys whose hearts are breaking. Young Robby should have stayed where he was in a structured environment, and in a system where he can run in last place for as long as possible, yet still kick to win. That doesn't translate well to the pros.
He should enroll for 1 year of eligibility at PSU. They would mold him into shape. PSU is 800 U.
Isn't PSU in deep enough with the NCAA already? Bringing a professional runner in for one year may not sit well.

I agree with this. He would certainly have developed much better long term with Marcus. He certainly has had some amazing races but that is much more likely due to his ridiculous talent.
I dunno - who do you go to when you have mental problems? there's no one solution - each runner is different.

I hope he comes to the Main Line to train. So I can whip that little punk into shape everyday. Workouts will be a death march.
