I am doing weights / strength training twice a week every saturday and monday.
Wants to do some circuits training every wednesday also.
Do you have any circuits workouts that's good for primary 800/400 runners?

A Med ball routine is a good strength training to add to an 800 meter runners training week.
I have my HS athletes do circuit training all the time. Sometimes we have a power circuit where we might do med ball slams, plyo pushups, squats, jump squats, rowing. I've had stability circuits where the exercises were ankle bands for the glute medius, planks, bird dogs, glute bridges, scapular pushups, bands for scapular retraction. And I have traditional strength stations like pushups, pull ups, squats, step ups. There are days where we do the exercises with running in between and days where we do no running and very little impact. Depending on how much rest and or how intense the exercise is performed circuit training can be a recovery day or a hard day. With only a 70 meter straightaway in which to train I've been forced to do this all winter.
Thanks for your help both of you. Will try using some of the methods
