For those that don't know him, Symmonds seems like an ideal American hero to root for. He publicly launches an overly obnoxious campaign to get the attention of USATF, outwardly seeming that he wanted change for the sport. In reality, all he wants is more money for himself. If that gets other athletes more money too, then great. He's as big a sellout as they come and would do just about anything for another dollar. Anyone willing to sell temporary tattoos, then wear them, but cover them up is just trying too hard. While I agree advertising rules needed to be changed, he goes through improper channels. Simply put Symmonds ruffles way too many feathers and I was glad Ian Stewart put him in his place year and excluded him. He needs to mature and learn the proper way to handle business is not to run your mouth, instead being polite and expressing gratitute at oportunities gets you further.
