Until now, I never realized egg whites were so high in protein and low in calories.
Is there a limit to how many I should eat per day?

Yeah they are! BUt I always feel guilty about tossing the yolks. And then you probably need 5-8 egg whites. You can buy egg whites only in a carton but it's pretty expensive.
Yeah, you can. Very nutritious. Eat way too many, it won't hurt you.
Yes, you probably shouldn't eat too many. They're pretty high in cholesterol, and they're hard to digest (if you've ever gone for a run shortly after eating eggs you know that feeling). Ones produced in America also have lots of artificial hormones, just like meat. And consider that you probably don't need as much protein as you think. I don't know what college athletes' obsession with protein is, I don't think I've ever seen a protein-deficient college kid.
That said, it's better than what lots of people eat, and it can help raise testosterone if you're low (you should have morning wood pretty much every morning).
Eat the yolk, it's good for you.
I read that yolks are the part of the egg that is high in cholesterol? (sure I spelled that wrong) The whites offer the healthy protein goodness.
Not sure about egg whites, but I heard that if you eat your weight in carrots you will die from carotene poisoning. True story.
Eating too much of any kind of disgusting vegetable will kill you.

Beware of conventional wisdom, it is usually wrong. Egg yolks hold the cholesterol, which happens to be very good for you. Cholesterol is a critical component to our body's health. Throwing away egg yolks is the biggest waste of nutrients you could ever do. If anything throw away the whites and eat the yolk.
If you don't want to waste the egg yolks then just buy the liquid egg whites. Get the ones with no unnecesary/artificial ingredients added and it won't have anymore calories than regular egg whites.
If you're making an omelet or scramble, you should probably add a yolk a few times per week because the yolk has several benefits too. (http://www.cholesterol-and-health.com/Egg_Yolk.html)
Also you could make a protein shake with milk, fruit, and egg whites and once you get the recipe correct the egg whites don't make much of a taste difference.
You can also turn orange. True beans.
Oh, and don't buy the eggs in a carton whatever you do. It's bullshit egg substitute with chemicals you don't want. Eat real eggs. Same goes for any food. Eat real food. If there is an ingredient label it's usually not real food. How about fish, eggs, meat, vegetables, oils, nuts, etc. Ingredient list of one.

Grains and milk have an ingredient list of one also, but let me guess.....they are not "real" foods, huh? Oh yeah, you left out fruit (NOT CARBS!!!!!)

I know you are probably joking but...
carrots are hardly disgusting and are of course very good for you. Yes, in excess they will cause problems.
So will water.
So will protein.
So did you have a point or just a joke? (if just a joke, that's cool).
[to the op:
You are probably not OD'ing on egg whites. But at a certain point, too much protein can be unhealthy. You are probably not at that point unless you are eating dozens a day along with lots of other protein]

No. Protein is basically a self-limiting macronutrient, and nothing bad will happen if you eat "too much". One thing that any "iron athlete" worth his salt will tell you is that consistently eating enough protein to maximize strength and LBM gains takes concerted effort and discipline. It's very easy for a 160lb trainee to consume 240 grams of high quality protein on any given day--1-2 grams/lb/bodyweight/day is a very common target range among strength athletes--but to do so *every day* is a challenge.
Dr. Scott Connelly on the subject:
http://youtu.be/fqvA0X7G3xII would, of course, urge you to eat whole eggs rather than egg whites unless you need to lose weight quickly. Egg yolk is an incredibly nutritious food.

I love this post
Egg Whites are a Zero Point food in Weight Watchers.

Both. Carrots may be a tasty treat for garden enthusiasts but they have limited nutritive value. A few of the veggie vitamins (A, C, K) and a lot of indigestible fiber, which substance inhibits mineral absorption.
I'll say this for carrots, at least they aren't green. No creatures ever had to evolve ruminant stomachs to digest them.
