Im a BOY who is 5'9' and 110-115 (been underweight all my life)... How the hell can I gain weight other than not running? I do about 35 mpw, core 2-3x per week but my body structure doesn't change. I stuff myself to the point of being bloated every dinner, have a small breakfast because i wake up at 5:30 every day and rush to get to school, and a medium sized lunch because my parents don't buy anything to put in lunches. I eat everything in sight; once I get home i probably have snacks every hour, but i still look like an emaciated twig. I can do 40 push-ups in a row without stopping, 14 chin-ups, and climb to the top of the rope in gyms easily. My PR's as a freshman when I was 5'6' 100-105 were 2:23 800, 68 400, 19:17 5k, 5:19 1600m. (18:40 5k this year) I AM POSITIVE my times would improve ridiculously if I gained some weight. How can I gain weight?? My family doesn't know shit about nutrition and have home-cooked meals almost always with huge portions of pasta for dinner. So far in indoor, my arms just die whenever I start to run a pace of under 35 per 200m for any period of time. Most core is such a joke for me I am better than everyone else on my team (planks, side planks, six inches), but I am still very weak(or at least look it) How can I gain weight!?
