Mayb its just the local mcdonalds I frequent, but their tap water that you get when you order a big cup of water instead of soda tastes REALLY PURE! My guess is that its filtered pretty well and thats why a small cup si 25 cents, and a alrge and medium are both 1 dollar. Filtration can be expensive on that scale.

for dinner tonight, i had 2 grilld onion cheeseburgers, a small fry, and a large cup of water. i believe the water helps balance things out.
Starbucks uses a double reverse osmosis process for their water; maybe McDonalds has something similar??

Yes, water is necessary sometimes to be able to consume a heavy meal. The mcds and Starbucks in San Fran suck. There is no place to park. Everyone and everything looks homeless, SOHO is SO NOt a place I'm moving. But I'd work there. It's a nice work environment.

Its because they filter the water three times through different filters, its pretty much the cleanest water you can drink (go figure lol). I work at one and they change out the filters frequently to keep it clean. At mine you can get any size water for free as well
This literally got me thinking of Bekele. I think he must have the world record for best marathon with out water. He ran London in 2:6:36 with 6 weeks training, and missed all the water in his stops. He must have suffered a lot. Ironically, that is why he wasn't able to hang on for the win. He still ran so well despite this, proving he is the greatest. I wonder would McDonald's water be good for them runners going for world records. Bekele will get the world record next year. But do you ever run past a McDonald's during a hard run, and want to get water?
