no
She's about as clean as an unprotected wang.
Wang Junxia's 10,000 29:31:78... that record seems absurd...no one has come close.
"On Sept 8, 1993, Wang sliced 42 seconds off the previous 10,000 metres world record at the Chinese national games with a scarcely credible time of 29min 31.78sec. Not only does her mark still stand today, no athlete has got within 22 seconds of it.
But Wang was not finished. Showing no sign of fatigue, she finished second behind compatriot Qu Yunxia in a 1500m race just three days later in which both women broke the old world record. Again, Qu’s mark still stands.
Then, on the subsequent two days, Wang ran successive world records in the heats and final of the 3,000m. And, yes, Wang’s world mark of 8min 6.11sec still stands. No-one has come within 15 seconds of it."

her coach was a drug guy - Ma Junren
"There have been suggestions that he has employed performance enhancing drugs as part of his training regime. He has strongly denied this, although 6 of his athletes were among 27 competitors dropped from China's team for the Sydney Olympic games after failing blood tests. As a result he was dropped as a coach from the Chinese Olympic team. Following this episode, he and his entire team of athletes disappeared for several months, fueling further suspicion.
Ma is also controversial for his temper tantrums. He has admitted to physically beating his athletes on occasion. His original squad fired him for many reasons, including the late allocation of sports bonuses." -
Its a complete abomination.
If the proprietors of this site have their demonstrated amount of outrage against Lance, they should have a 10x degree of outrage over this nonsense and be organizing picketing of the Chinese embassy and the IAAF, and the WADA.
They should be hanging Dick Pound in effigy until he buys tv time demanding this womans marks be expunged.
Wang Junxia is the greatest woman distance runner ever.
There will probably never be another as good as she was.

If anyone was ever not sure if JR was a troll, this post should erase all doubt.
Dibaba could have broken that "record".
As clean as Paula.
Yup. Paula took a shower today. She also brushed her teeth. I'd say she's pretty clean.
No turtle soup for YOU!!!
I think that Wang was clean at the beginning of her career and at the end of her career when she had some notable successes whilst running 'normal' times.
The stuff in between beginning with the World championships in '93 in Stuttgart whilst under the coaching of Ma Junren is as absurd as the female sprinting world records.
The 8:06 3,000 is even more absurd than the 10K mark, and was set during the same meet, and came right after she had run an already eye-popping 8:12. In fact, in a two-day span in 1993 at the Beijing Games, Wang ran 8:12 and 8:06, Qu Junxia ran a pair of 8:12s, Zhang Linli ran 8:22 and 8:16, and Ma Liyan ran 8:21 and 8:19. No non-Chinese athlete has ever run faster than 8:21.42 (Gabriela Szabo in 2002, and she's not exactly suspected of being pristine herself).
We're supposed to think that Wang is a full *100 meters* better than anyone outside her own country? Even 't drugs alone don't explain that degree of supremacy in a world rife with PEDs -- there has long been suspicion that the track was also short, a bit of speculation supported by the fact that the track was torn up not long after that sick excuse for a meet.
That the IAAF ratified any of the records set at those Games suggests that they should have just legalized doping at that point and dropped all pretense at wanting a drug-free sport.
The fact that there are no videos of this meet SCREAMS short track and/or false start line. Take the PED Rules out of the equation and these WR's are still not legitimate ones.
And the fact that this army basically folded heading into the sydney olympics Screams drugs as well
Not Paula and her mossy teeth again!!
From Wikipedia, for that that's worth:
"Ma is also controversial for his temper tantrums. He has admitted to physically beating his athletes on occasion ... He is recently interested in fostering world-class mastiffs."
Just what the world needs, a competitive dog breeder with a penchant for physical violence. It would be a suitable end to him if one of those big-ass Mastiffs bit his balls off.
I honestly believe she might have been the one in a million runner, whittled down by General Ma, to survive and thrive in marathon-a-day training and set these, yes, ridiculous world records.
I mean that.

Then why were her next-fastest 10K times 30:49 30:50 and 31:02 -- a nice, consistent range? Just a really "on" day for her in Beijing, when she would have lapped herself (ha, ha) in any of the above three contests?
Don't be delusional. I really mean that.

It's hard to believe. she was one of a group who ran fantastic at the meet. Her teammates smashed the 1500 record. I would think the track was short but I never saw the men's times. If not that, the she was lie,Lu dirty.
